Field Days

To Participate in the National VHF/UHF Field Days the "Two Johns" G4ZHG and G8DYK regularly take to the hills of Lincolnshire. Joined by other members of the Newark Mafia a great time is had by all.

National Field Day 2000
To Participate in the National Field Day
The TWO JOHNS G4ZHG G8DYK set up a portable station in the
wilds of Lincolnshire. QRV on 4mtrs and 70cms and running under their own steam
G4ZHG/P hit the airwaves. Visited during the weekend by Richard G7MUB, Dave
G0FJW, Jim M1JHW, Dave G7HNO and curious locals, the event was declared a success
with future events in the pipeline.

In Memory of Dave "Sumo" G0FJW

Sadly Dave died in March 2005 after a brave fight against illness. Dave was a great friend and a frequent visitor to the field day events. It is impossible to express in words the loss felt by Dave's passing. John G4ZHG dedicated the 2005 field day expedition to Dave's Memory. We know he was there in spirit.
