Nottingham Bone Marrow Drive
A Bone Marrow drive will be held in The Council House in Nottingham's Old Market Square on Wednesday, 2 June 2010, between 2.00pm and 7.00pm. BBC Radio Nottingham is supporting the event. BBC Nottingham Website Announcement

Dance For Life
A fundraising night for The Anthony Nolan Trust in memory of Joel Picker Spence was held at the Holy Trinity Community and Partnership Centre in Newark.
£1300 was raised for the Anthony Nolan Trust

Match found for Roman
We are delighted to have heard the news that a match has been found for Roman Cusick. Subject to suitable tests a bone marrow transplant can be included in treatment plans. Good Luck to Roman and his family.

Calverton Miners Welfare
An amazing 193 people joined the register. This was the first time that the "Spit Test" had been used in the east midlands. Great support from the media. Both Radio Nottingham and Radio Trent publicised the event and BBC Midlands Today sent a camera crew and held a live broadcast from the drive.
