Homebrew HF Vertical
Ingredients:
1 x 12 foot Fibreglass
Pole.
20 metres of 16 swg Copper wire.
2 x Jubilee Clips.
½ Choc Bloc Connector.
Length of single core wire feeder. (Length as required)
Guy Ropes if necessary.
Method:
Assemble the Fibreglass Pole. Attach one end of the Copper wire to one end of the Pole with a Jubilee Clip and wind the rest of the wire round the pole securing it at the other end with the second Jubilee Clip.
Make
sure you have left a 1” tail of Copper Wire. Clean this ‘tail’
and then attach the Choc Block connector to it.
Position the Pole in it’s final position and secure with guy ropes
if necessary.
Now attach the single core feeder to the Choc Block connector and attach
the other end to the ATU.
Tune up on the required band & have fun !
