These pages are written with love and
dedicated to the memory of our son who passed away on 18th April 1998, aged 15,
after a two-year-battle against cancer. Please enter, stay a while and read
about a young man who endured so much throughout
his life that his courage and determination were recognised when he received a
McDonalds Child of Achievement Award,
a Star Champion Child Award and The Scout Association Medal for Meritorious
Conduct, a medal which is usually only given
to two or three people a year in England.
A wonderful lady called Ruth Ann made this
gift for Simon and sent it with this message.
"I just wanted to do something special for Simon.
We give many thanks for what we have and the memories and gifts that God gave
us.
Although Simon is no longer here, he lives within many hearts, especially
mine".
The words of comfort we have received from people continue to be a source of
strength to us and we would
like to share some of them with you on our Words of Comfort page.
Perhaps, if you have lost someone dear to
you, you may find something there to help you. My special thanks to Jodie for
sending me these beautiful words.
A very precious friend named Diane made
this for me,
which just goes to show that God does not have all of His Angels in Heaven!
Thank you so much Diane for being one of my Angel Friends on Earth.
My dear friend Judy made this one for me
and it reminds me that
as hard as things have been, I am still very blessed.
In memory of all those people who lost
their lives
or had them changed forever on September 11th 2001
These pages are still under construction,
so please bear with me as some of the links may not yet work.
I do not know what additions I will make to these pages, although I know that
Simon himself will have
an influence over what appears. You can be sure these pages will be a raising of awareness and a celebration
of life, love and sharing, all things that Simon treasured. If you know of any
links that you would like
me to consider, or you have any comments on this page, feel free to email me

Thank you so much Mish,
dear friends like you give me
the strength and courage I need to carry on.
I received this from Karen, a true and
precious friend.
You've seen me through some of my darkest moments
and I know you'll be there whenever I need you.
God Bless you for being my friend.
I am absolutely amazed and SO honoured to
have been chosen as the recipient of the
IBIA Angel on Earth Award for February 1999.
I believe the credit for this award should
actually be given to Vince and Amy,
my family and to each and every one of my online friends,
who's love and support have helped me to become the person I am today.
God Bless you all. Luvnhugs Bea
My wonderful and precious friend Karen
nominated me for this award.
I was also nominated by someone who wishes to remain anonymous. (Hmmm, curious????)
Thank you both so very much!
I only pray that I can continue to bring some sunshine into your lives.
It is a great honour to receive this award
for the creation of Simon's pages.
It gives me great comfort to know that Simon's story inspires people.
My most sincere gratitude goes to all those people who have helped
me through the time since Simon passed away.
I am so honoured to receive this award for
Simon's site and so blessed to be able
to give you all the opportunity of getting to know Simon through these pages.
The credit should go to all my precious friends who have brought me through
the time since Simon has passed away.
I thank God for you all each and every day.
